Library Closed Wednesday due to Snow and Freezing Rain

The Fort Kent Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, March 11. due to the predicted snow and freezing rain, which could cause dangerous road conditions.

The following library programs are cancelled and will resume their operation the next time they meet:

Coffee Talk - Originally scheduled for 2:30 p.m., is cancelled, and will meet next in April.

The Last Class - Originally scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday night, is cancelled. This class will resume next Wednesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. in the C3NT3R.

The meeting of the executive board of Les Amis Les Amis de la Bibliothèque Publique de Fort Kent/Friends of the Fort Kent Public Library may occur via Zoom on Wednesday, but the board membership should keep an eye out for an email with further guidance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but this transition time can be especially dangerous.

The library will reopen on Thursday at 12 Noon.
