Quick online or paper surveys open February 1–28; participants who include contact info entered to win $25 gift certificates
FORT KENT, Maine — The Fort Kent Public Library (FKPL) invites residents of the Upper St. John Valley to share feedback through a set of short surveys available throughout the month of February. The FKPL Board of Trustees will use the results to help shape the library’s upcoming strategic plan, with a focus on services, programs, collection development, and potential building improvements.
“More people are using the library than ever before,” said Library Director Andrew Birden. “As we make plans to further that success, it is important for the library board of trustees to respond to the changing needs of our participating communities.”
FKPL is offering separate surveys for adult community members, businesses and organizations, and younger folks.
Each survey includes a few short questions and should take less than five minutes to complete.
Surveys are available online and in paper form.
The online surveys are at the following addresses:

Survey responses will remain anonymous to the public. Individual responses will be viewable to the Library Director for analysis. FKPL will produce an internal summary report and also share an edited summary for library patrons.
